Scripture Truth Publications - "Christian publishing since the 1800s"

In July 2011 we published, in the same format as our "Understanding Christianity", "Understanding the Old Testament" and "Understanding the New Testament" series, a collection of all seventeen of the "Truth for Today" radio broadcasts by Glenn Baxter under the title "What a God we Christians have!"

In August 2016 we published, in the same format, a collection of all six of the "Truth for Today" radio broadcasts on Colossians by George Stevens, Douglas Pettman, Ernie Brown, George Bell, Gordon Kell and David Anderson under the title "Paul's Letter to the Colossians".

Truth for Today seriesFor many years, Premier Radio's "Truth for Today" broadcasts have been challenging and encouraging its listeners with the truths of the Word of God. Those who have heard them know that they usually follow a theme over a number of weeks.

Some of these talks have been available in low-cost handy pocket-sized (10.5cm x 14.85cm) book form for some time. In July 2011 we republished them as collections of four talks: "Who is Jesus?" and "Some Problems Christians Face".

Our first theme is the Person of Christ and each book asks the question "Is Jesus...?". The first four books have now been collected into a single volume (in the same format) with the title "Who is Jesus?".

"Who is Jesus?" by Cor Bruins, David Pulman, Peter Ollerhead and George BellWho is Jesus?

by Cor Bruins, David Pulman, Peter Ollerhead and George Bell.
ISBN: 978 0 901860 57 6 Paperback 60 pages @ £2.50

"Who is Jesus?" is the most important question which any of us must face. Our answer to that question will determine not only the way we live in this world but also our eternal destiny. This booklet sets out in a clear, understandable way the reasons why we should believe Jesus's claims to be the Son of God.

That Jesus of Nazareth was a real historical person is a well-attested fact. The evidence for His existence is greater than that for many historical figures, e.g. Julius Caesar. Yet many today would deny that He was truly Man. Because He is fully Man, yet at the same time fully God, He alone is the Saviour of the world.

"Why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46) are the telling words of Jesus. This booklet sets out the biblical view of the Lordship of Christ and challenges us to examine our response to His Lordship.

Who controls the church? In today's world, it is vital to have a biblical answer to this important question. The Lord Jesus is Head of His church, His body, controlling and directing it by His Holy Spirit. A church that does not answer to its Head is as lifeless as a headless body.
